As one of the two Principal owners of Gum Tree Mortgage, I'm here to ensure that our team is listening to our clients and working diligently every day to help them realize their dream as it relates to home ownership.
With an educational background in Information Technology, I have a knack for systems and processes. I'm passionate about finding innovative ways to engage our team and our clients in a way that helps us deliver extraordinary customer service that is not readily found elsewhere.
I value family. Family is the real reason I do what I do. Family - mine or yours, is important to me. It is who I am.
I value relationships. For me, business is just word to describe a network of relationships. I value the relationship I have with my team, my clients, and our industry partners we work with every day.
I value dreams. I believe that home ownership is one of the grandest examples of the American Dream. Every time I meet with a client, my ultimate goal is to understand their specific dream.
If I were not a Mortgage Lender, I would most likely be a professional (maybe starving) wake surfer! I enjoy wake surfing way too much... so if I'm not in the office... and the water temperature is greater than 70 degrees... I've likely gone surfing!
In addition to being an all-around good guy, who works very hard for my team and clients, I do hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Mississippi State University. I am the past President (and past Vice-President and past Ethics chair) of the Mississippi Association of Mortgage Professionals. I was also named Mortgage Professional of the Year for the State of Mississippi.
I live and work in Tupelo, Mississippi, but I am a native son of the nearby town of New Albany. Married to my high school sweetheart and we have three children and a Chocolate Springer Doodle named Arley. In the summer I wake surf, in the winter I'm an avid duck hunter, and in between I am triathlete who desperately wishes for my younger and faster version!
We are in the business of making dreams come true, and as a byproduct, we offer great mortgage loans!

I am a native of Pontotoc, MS where I reside with my husband and 2 daughters. A proud graduate of Blue Mountain College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical studies.
